Action Plan

Catalogue of energy-saving actions with before/after measurement on selected sensors.

The Action Plan page lives under Optimisations. It is a catalogue of improvements you put in place on site: a title, an estimated gain, the sensors concerned, and the go-live date. The dashboard then measures the real consumption change on those sensors.

What an action captures

FieldPurpose
TitleShort name you will recognise in the catalogue
Estimated gain (%)The reduction you expect on the selected sensors
Go-live dateThe day the change was (or will be) applied
Comparison windowHow many complete days to compare on each side of that date (7, 14, 28 or 90)
SensorsOne sensor or a set — rooftop HVAC, a cold room, lighting, etc.
StatusPlanned, active, or archived

How measured gain is calculated

For each action the page takes the same number of complete calendar days immediately before go-live and immediately after it, in the site timezone.

measured gain % = (kWh before − kWh after) / kWh before
  • Incomplete days (including today) are excluded so the two sides stay comparable.
  • While the after-period is still filling in, the action is marked Collecting data and the percentage is a partial reading.
  • A future go-live date stays Planned until that day arrives.
  • The daily bar chart is centred on go-live (D0): grey bars are before, green bars are after.

Catalogue totals

The headline Measured gain is not a plain average of the percentages. Each action is weighted by its baseline kWh, so a 5% saving on a large asset counts more than a 30% saving on a small one. Estimated gain uses the same weighting.

If two actions share sensors, a warning appears: those kilowatt-hours can be counted twice in the total.

Archived actions stay in the catalogue for history but drop out of the totals.

When to use it

GoalHow
Record a real operational changeCreate an action the day you change a setpoint, schedule, or piece of equipment
Check whether the change deliveredWait until the after-window fills, then compare estimated vs measured
Keep a living ISO 50001-style registerThe catalogue is the list of implemented improvements and their verified gain
